Our founder’s journey and the purpose behind Coffee Kick Collective

Meet Georgia. Founder and football fan

Football has been a huge part of my life for years - not from the sidelines, but right at the heart of the game. As a referee, particularly within the women’s game, I’ve had the privilege of watching the sport grow, evolve, and have been a part of the growing opportunity. I’ve also spent years volunteering behind the scenes at club level, helping to support the volunteers who make football happen week in, week out.

Through these experiences, it's very clear to me that grassroots sport runs on passion. It runs on volunteers giving up evenings, weekends, and their energy - because they love it. Being part of that world has been super important to me and I wish that kind of community for everyone. Football isn’t just about what happens on the pitch - it’s about the people who build it, nurture it, and keep it alive.

Alongside football, I’ve always loved great coffee. Not just the drink itself, but what it represents. It's another way to bring people together. In 2025, the idea for Coffee Kick Collective was born from the question: how can I combine my love for football with my love for coffee, in a way that gives something back? And this was my answer. Coffee Kick Collective is about more than caffeine or football. It’s about connection, community and shared moments - on and off the pitch.
